To those who feel tired and lonely, “Far Off Father” was written as a lifeline––lifting our gaze from our circumstances to focus on God’s unfailing love. The organic soundscape and heartfelt lyrics serve as a remedy to our amnesiac hearts, reminding us that there is a Father who holds us close and never lets us go.
A few friends and I recently escaped to a lake house where we wrote this heartfelt worship song, expressing our desire to spend time in God’s presence. In the face of difficulty + sorrow, God is faithful to protect us & hold us close. Our response? To offer this song of praise back to Him.
When I was a teenager, I started to discover how God's stubborn love keeps pursuing us despite my silly mistakes and rebellious moments. As I spent more and more time in His presence, I became inspired to express my gratitude to Him by writing heartfelt worship songs. Since then, I've had the opportunity to lead with a variety of artists––such as Todd Dulaney, Stephen McWhirter, & Bridge Worship––and as I sing His praises, I find myself falling further in love with Him.
Come worship with me :)
